Some interesting information about Milos
Milos is in the Cyclades cluster of islands, in the Aegean Sea and it is 86 nautical miles south of Pireas, the main port of the country.
The island competes in beauty with the beauty of the world-famous statue of Venus de Milo, found on the island in 1820 and dating c. 100 BC and kept in the Louvre, Paris.
Numerous beaches, about 75, most of them of extraordinary natural beauty and crystal clear azure waters, are easily reached by car, bus and boat and some by boat only.
On the quay, in the centre of Adamas, you will find various passenger boats that do trips to many of the beaches on the island as well as trips around the island or nearby islands. Most key destinations on the island are linked by a regular bus service.
